Meet Assistant Pastor

Felicia Johnson is a native of South Carolina and raised in the Blackville, SC. Felicia’s desire for a closer walk with God led her to accept Christ at the age of 17 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Blackville, SC.

Felicia was a faithful member of Word of Life Assembly under the leadership of Pastor Willie James Harmon and First Lady Linda Harmon for 23 years. Felicia served as an usher for 20+ years, as a Hospitality Committee Leader/Member, Praise Dancer for about 10+ years, Kitchen Committee Member, Pen Pal Prison Ministry Member, Tent Ministry Member, Outreach Ministry Member, Youth leader, Sunday School Teacher, and Youth Mentor. Felicia preached her first sermon in May of 2023 as an Evangelist at Word of Life Assembly. Felicia continued serving in the ministry until being led by God to move to McDonough, GA to join The Purpose Church.

Felicia Joined the D.R.H. Prayer Ministry in May of 2021 that is led by Pastor Deshawn Harris and Lady Sharmese Harris. Felicia joined The Purpose Church in September of 2024 and was ordained as the assistant Pastor on April 13, 2025, under the leadership of Pastor Deshawn Harris and Lady Sharmese Harris.  

Felicia has been married to her wonderful husband Terry since 1993 and has 3 children (2 daughters and a son) as well as 3 wonderful God daughters and a God son.  Our son and his wife have blessed us with 2 lovable grandchildren, and we are blessed to have one more on the way with our daughter. Felicia’s motto is, “Faith makes things possible, Family is important, and Forgiveness is necessary.”  Felicia believes her responsibility is to seek and save the lost and feed God’s sheep. Felicia’s go to scripture is Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
